The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Oliver Dulic, called for the people to stop demolishing buildings and destroying property, stressing that violence in the city streets does not help Serbia send the right message to the world.

“It is particularly alarming that in certain cities threats and words of hatred could be heard towards the members of national communities who are not responsible for the situation in Kosovo and Metohia and who have shown solidarity and loyalty for years”, Dulic said.

The Speaker of the National Assembly appealed to the citizens to show a high degree of responsibility, rationality and sobriety in these difficult times for the country.
