South-East European Parliaments’ Defence and Security Committees Annual Meeting in Sarajevo
Defence and Internal Affairs Committee delegation comprising Committee members Momcilo Mandic and Jasmina Obradovic, and Committee deputy member Dr Vesna Rakonjac, took part in the Annual Meeting of South-East European Parliaments’ Defence and Security Committees, in Sarajevo, 5 – 7 June 2017.
The topics of the Annual Meeting were best parliamentary oversight practices of the defence and security sector, contemporary security challenges in the South- East European region and migrations as a security challenge for the countries of South-East Europe.
In addition to the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee, the Annual Meeting was also attended by representatives of the parliamentarians of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Turkey, Slovenia, Macedonia, as well as representatives of the resident diplomatic missions in Bosnia and Herzegovina and many international organizations.
