Sormaz and Aleksandrovych Discuss Advancing Parliamentary Cooperation between Serbia and Ukraine
The Head of the National Assembly delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Dragan Sormaz met today at the National Assembly House with Ukrainian Ambassador to Serbia H.E. Oleksandr Aleksandrovych.
The officials discussed advancing parliamentary cooperation and friendly relations between Serbia and Ukraine, agreeing that strengthening the cooperation between the two countries’ respective parliamentary delegations to the NATO PA is especially important.
Sormaz said that the two nations are bound by tradition, history, closely-related languages and religion which is why mutual support in resolving strategic issues is vital, which is something a friendly communication between the members of the two parliaments can greatly contribute to.
