Seventh Sitting of the Subcommittee for Monitoring the Agricultural Situation in Marginal - Least Developed Areas of the Republic of Serbia - Areas with Difficult Working Conditions in Agriculture
The Subcommittee for Monitoring the Agricultural Situation in Marginal - Least Developed Areas of the Republic of Serbia - Areas with Difficult Working Conditions in Agriculture held a sitting outside of the National Assembly seat on 18 October 2023, in the building of the Faculty of Agriculture in Zemun.
The Subcommittee considered one item on the agenda: Animal husbandry and agriculture – chance for sustainable development in underdeveloped areas of the Republic of Serbia, with a special focus on African swine flu, blackleg and American foulbrood of honey bees.
The sitting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management State Secretary Dusanka Golubovic and Milos Petrovic of the Veterinary Directorate.
The sitting was chaired by Subcommittee Chairman Milija Miletic, and attended by the following Subcommittee members and deputy members: Momir Stojilkovic, Dejan Ignjatovic, Dr Nenad Mitrovic, Momcilo Vuksanovic and Marko Ristic.
The Subcommittee sitting outside of the National Assembly seat was held with the support of UNDP of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation via project Strengthening Parliamentary Democracy and Inclusive Political Dialogue – Phase Three.
