Seventh Sitting of the Foreign Affairs Committee
At the sitting held on 12 June, the Foreign Affairs Committee members adopted several initiatives for National Assembly delegation visits, as well as reports on visits and contacts realised in the previous period.
The Committee members then proceeded to elect new heads of the parliamentary friendship groups with Brazil, Armenia, South African Republic, Mexico, Finland, Switzerland and Saudi Arabia.
The Committee modified the name of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with the Arab Gulf States to Parliamentary Friendship Group with the Arab States of the Gulf and amended the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Belarus.
MP Zlata Djeric was elected the Foreign Affairs Committee representative at the Commission Monitoring the Execution of the National Action Plan for the Implementation of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325 - Women, Peace and Security in the Republic of Serbia (2010-2015).
MP Aleksandra Djurovic of the Serbian Progressive Party Parliamentary Group was elected Committee Chairperson
The sitting was chaired by Dr Dijana Vukomanovic, Committee Deputy Chairperson.
