Seventh Sitting of the Education Committee
The Education Committee held its seventh sitting on 5 December. The sitting was chaired by the Committee Chairman, Dr Zoran Sami and attended by Tinde Kovac Cerovic, State Secretary of the Ministry of Education.
The Education Committee held its seventh sitting on 5 December. The sitting was chaired by the Committee Chairman, Dr Zoran Sami and attended by Tinde Kovac Cerovic, State Secretary of the Ministry of Education.
The Committee members analysed the work of the National Education Council so far. The Committee decided to have the National Education Council submit a report on its up to date work within 15 days. The Committee also decided to request information from the National Education Council on whether a proposal to ban the import of textbooks from national minorities’ mother countries is being prepared.
The Committee members went on to agree that, before they consider the candidate list for National Education Council members, the Committee Chairman and Deputy Chairman Dr Zoran Sami and Jon Magda, consult with the National Assembly Speaker Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic, as well as the heads of deputy groups.
