Seventh Sitting of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government

At the sitting held on 18 November, the members of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government reviewed the amendments submitted to the Bill on Preventing Domestic Violence, Bill amending and modifying the Criminal Code, Bill on Organisation and Jurisdiction of Government Authorities in Suppression of Organised Crime, Terrorism and Corruption, and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Seizure and Confiscation of Proceeds from Crime.


Out of the 152 amendments submitted to the Bill on Preventing Domestic Violence, the Government and the Committee accepted 21, and the Committee submitted an amendment of its own to articles 13, 14 and 16 of the Bill.

Out of the 71 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Criminal Code, the Government and the Committee accepted six.

The Government and the Committee accepted seven of the 43 amendments submitted to the Bill on Organisation and Jurisdiction of Government Authorities in Suppression of Organised Crime, Terrorism and Corruption, and three of the 39 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Seizure and Confiscation of Proceeds from Crime.

The sitting chaired by Committee Chairman Petar Petrovic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Slavisa Bulatovic, Sreto Peric, Balint Pasztor, Marko Parezanovic, Miletic Mihajlovic, Tanja Tomasevic Damnjanovic, Stanija Kompirovic, Aleksandra Majkic, Marijan Risticevic and Jovan Palalic.
