Seventh Sitting of the Committee on the Economy, Regional Development, Trade, Tourism and Energy

At the sitting held on 24 March 2023, the members of the Committee on the Economy, Regional Development, Trade, Tourism and Energy was presented the Energy Community Secretariat Annual Report on the progress of the Republic of Serbia in the implementation of regulations in the field of energy.


Presenting the Report, Energy Community Secretariat Director Artur Lorkowski said that progress has been recorded despite the unfortunate circumstances caused by the war in Ukraine and the ensuing energy crisis.

Lorkowski’s presentation included Serbia’s Energy Community acquis implementation snapshot, an overview of the transposition of the “Clean Energy for all Europeans” package, as well as the electricity market and gas market integration, renewable energy and environmental protection.

The sitting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Mining and Energy and the Energy Agency of the Republic of Serbia who took part in the ensuing discussion with the Committee members and representatives of the Energy Community Secretariat on the Annual Report on the progress of the Republic of Serbia in the implementation of regulations in the field of energy.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman MA Dejan Radenkovic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Dr Zivan Bajic, Dalibor Jekic, Radovan Tvrdisic, Veroljub Arsic, Dr Aleksandra Tomic, Zoran Tomic, Miodrag Gavrilovic, Zoran Zecevic, Tijana Davidovac, Ugljesa Markovic, Zivota Starcevic and Dragomir Karic.
