The Committee delegation was headed by Committee Chairman Momir Stojanovic and comprised Committee members Zeljko Susec, Dragan Sormaz, Dragan Sutanovac and Goran Bogdanovic, as well as substitute Committee members Jelena Mijatovic and Sinisa Maksimovic.

In line with its duties, pursuant to the Law on the Bases of Security Services Organization, Law on the Military Security Agency and the Military Intelligence Agency, National Assembly Rules of Procedure and the Committee Decision regulating the manner in which the Committee conducts direct supervision over the work of the security services, the Committee delegation supervised the legality of the Military Intelligence Agency headquarters’ work as regards abiding by its legally prescribed tasks and duties.

The Committee delegation ascertained that the Military Intelligence Agency acted in line with its duties and appropriate procedure. They gave a positive assessment of the Military Intelligence Agency’s work and underlined their full support to its further efforts in the realisation of its key tasks. The members of the Military Intelligence Agency took active part during the supervisory visit and provided comprehensive explanations and answers to the questions posed by the Committee delegation members.

The visit to the Military Intelligence Agency headquarters concludes the cycle of planned supervisory visits to security services headquarters, and in the coming period the Committee will continue the active surveillance of the security services’ work so as to boost their efficiency and continue the coordinated efforts on the achievement of national interests.
