Second Sitting of the Subcommittee on the Information Society and Digitalisation

At the sitting held on 28 April 2021, the Subcommittee on the Information Society and Digitalisation decided on the date for the public hearing on: State Data Centre: Information Security and Data Protection.

In agreement with the Director of the Office for Information Technologies and eGovernment Dr Mihailo Jovanovic, the Subcommittee members accepted the proposal to have the public hearing on 10 May 2021, starting at 11 am. The public hearing will be held at the State Data Centre in Kragujevac. In addition to MPs, invitations to the public hearing will be sent to representatives of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, the Office for Information Technologies and eGovernment, Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Services, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Defence, Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection and representatives of the civil sector. The public hearing will be supported by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).

The Subcommittee also accepted a program proposal and discussed having a series of public hearings on similar topics related to information technology and digitisation.

The sitting was chaired by Subcommittee Chairperson Marina Ragus.
