The National Assembly accepted the proposal of MP Dr Aleksandar Martinovic to complete a joint single debate on items 2, 3, 4 and 5 on the agenda.
The National Assembly proceeded to commence a single debate on the Proposal of the Decision on the election of judges to judicial office for the first time, presented by Vukica Kuzic, elective member of the High Judicial Council from the ranks of judges.
For the remainder of the day, the National Assembly conducted and concluded the single debate on item 1 on the agenda.
On the second day of the proceedings, 14 October 2021, before moving on to the agenda, the heads i.e. authorised representatives of the parliamentary groups, MPs Milija Miletic, Dr Muamer Bacevac, Rozalia Okresz, Stefan Krkobabic, Djordje Milicevic and Prof. Dr Dragoljub Ackovic, requested information and explanations in line with article 287 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure.
The National Assembly went on to commence the joint single debate on the Commission for Protection of Competition 2020 Activity Report, submitted by the Commission for Protection of Competition, accompanied by the Conclusion Proposal of the Committee on the Economy, Regional Development, Trade, Tourism and Energy of 16 July 2021, Fiscal Council 2020 Activity Report, submitted by the Fiscal Council, accompanied by the Conclusion Proposal of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending of 14 July 2021, Energy Agency 2020 Activity Report, submitted by the Energy Agency, accompanied by the Conclusion Proposal of the Committee on the Economy, Regional Development, Trade, Tourism and Energy of 2 July 2021, and the State Audit Institution 2020 Activity Report, submitted by the State Audit Institution, accompanied by the Conclusion Proposal of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending of 16 June 2021.
The reports were presented by the Director of the Commission for Protection of Competition Nebojsa Peric, President of the Fiscal Council of the Republic of Serbia Pavle Petrovic, President of the State Audit Institution Dr Dusko Pejovic and the Chairperson of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending Aleksandra Tomic as representatives of the submitters.
As the National Assembly had completed the debate on all the items on the agenda, National Assembly Deputy Speaker Dr Vladimir Orlic set Thursday, 14 October 2021, as Voting Day on all the items on the agenda of the Second Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2021, starting at 6 pm.
Voting Day
On Voting Day, 14 October 2021, by majority vote, the National Assembly adopted the Proposal of the Decision on the election of judges to judicial office for the first time, submitted by the High Judicial Council, without the seven candidates whose nominations were contested by MPs Dejan Kesar and Dr Ugljesa Mrdic. On behalf of the MPs and himself, Deputy Speaker Orlic congratulated the candidates who were elected and wished them success.

As the National Assembly had completed the debate on all the items on the agenda and ruled on them, National Assembly Deputy Speaker Dr Vladimir Orlic concluded the Second Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2021.
