Second Sitting of the Health and Family Committee

At the sitting held on 22 May 2025, the Health and Family Committee considered the Ministry of Health Activity Information for the period April – June 2024, Ministry of Health Activity Information for the period July – September 2024, Ministry of Health Activity Information for the period October – December 2024 presented to the MPs by State Secretaries Prof. Dr Ivana Stasevic Karlicic and Mirsad Djerlek.

In the continuation of the session, the members of the Committee proposed a candidate for member of the Commission for the Control of the Execution of Criminal Sanctions, taking into account the task of the Commission and the need for it to start work as soon as possible. From the ranks of its members and deputy members, the Health and Family Committee proposed candidate Dr Muamer Bacevac for Commission member, and will submit the proposal to the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government, as the proposer of the Proposal of the Decision on the Election of Members of the Commission.

The Committee also established Working Group for the consideration of civic petitions from citizens and organisations, and elected Dr Lidija Sarac as Chair, and Dr Emese Uri and Prof. Dr Dragan Delic as members of the Working Group.

As item any other business, the Committee elected as its representatives, in the Commission for the Fight against HIV/AIDS and Tuberculosis, MPs Assistant Doc.Dr Darko Laketic and Dr Nenad Ristovic, as a member and deputy member of the Commission.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Dr Muamer Bacevac and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Dr Sanela Strainovic, Prof. Dr Snezana Rakic, Dr Ivana Rajicic, Prof. Dr Slobodan Milisavljevic, Dr Lidija Sarac, Tatjana Nikolic, Katarina Stojanovic, Marina Mijatovic, Prim. Dr Nada Macura, Jelena Spiric, Prof. Dr Mirka Lukic Sarkanovic, Nenad Ristic and Elvira Kovacs.
