The National Assembly adopted the following agenda:

1. Bill amending and modifying the Law on Election of MPs, submitted by the Government;
2. Bill amending the Law on Local Elections, submitted by the Government;
3. Bill amending and modifying the Law on Protection of Population against Infectious Diseases, submitted by the Government;
4. Proposal of the Decision amending the Decision on the Dismissal and Appointment of Members and Substitute Members of the Republic Electoral Commission, submitted by the Socialist Party of Serbia Parliamentary Group.

The National Assembly accepted the proposal of National Assembly Deputy Speaker Prof. Dr Vladimir Marinkovic to complete a joint debate in principle and single debate on all the items on the agenda.

The MPs proceeded to commence the joint debate in principle and single debate on items 1 to 4 on the agenda, presented by Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government Branko Ruzic and Minister of Health Dr Zlatibor Loncar as representatives of the submitter.

By the end of the day, the National Assembly completed the joint debate in principle and single debate on all the on the agenda.

On the second day of the proceedings, 10 May 2020, the MPs conducted and concluded the debate in detail on the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Election of MPs, Bill amending the Law on Local Elections and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Protection of Population against Infectious Diseases.

As the National Assembly had completed the debate all the items on the agenda, National Assembly Deputy Speaker Veroljub Arsic set Sunday, 10 May 2020, as Voting Day on all the items on the agenda of the Second Sitting of the First Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2020, starting at 5.30 pm.


On Voting Day, 10 May 2020, by majority vote, the National Assembly adopted the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Election of MPs, Bill amending the Law on Local Elections, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Protection of Population against Infectious Diseases and the Proposal of the Decision amending the Decision on the Dismissal and Appointment of Members and Substitute Members of the Republic Electoral Commission, submitted by the Socialist Party of Serbia Parliamentary Group.

On Voting Day, the National Assembly also ruled on the violations of the Rules of Procedure the MPs complained of in the course of the sitting and decided that none of the provisions of the Rules of Procedure had been violated.

As the National Assembly had completed the debate on all the items on the agenda and ruled on them, National Assembly Deputy Speaker Veroljub Arsic concluded the Second Sitting of the First Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2020.
