Second Sitting of the Committee on Interethnic Relations
The Committee on Interethnic Relations held its second sitting on 9 December. The sitting was chaired by the Committee Chairman, Miletic Mihajlovic, and attended by the Minister of Human and Minority Rights, Svetozar Ciplic.

The Committee unanimously adopted the 2009 Work programme.
The Committee went on to discuss the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly Committee on Legal and Political Affairs Rapporteur, Jurgen Hermann’s Report on the position of national minorities in Vojvodina and the Romanian ethnic minority in Serbia. The Report was presented to the Committee members by the Head of the Standing Delegation at the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly, Milos Aligrudic.
