Second Meeting of Informal Green Parliamentary Group

The National Assembly Building hosted the second meeting of the informal Green Parliamentary Group, where MPs Mirjana Djokovic, Nada Lazic and MA Dejan Radenkovic were elected members of the coordinating team that is to coordinate the work of the Group in the next six months.

The participants of the meeting agreed that the “open door” policy should be renewed i.e. that the Group should organise meetings between the MPs and NGOs dealing with environmental protection in Serbia. In the course of the discussion the MPs also came to the conclusion that it would be useful to organise a gathering to discuss chapter 27 – environment.
In addition to the MPs, members of the Green Parliamentary Group, the meeting was also attended by Valentina Djureta and Milos Djajic, representatives of the Belgrade Fund for Political Excellence and Centre of Modern Skills respectively.
