At the request of 127 members of parliament, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Dr Oliver Dulic, convened the Second Extraordinary Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2008 for Friday, 29 February 2008, starting at 3 p.m.

For its Second Extraordinary Sitting, the National Assembly set the following agenda:

1. Proposal of the Decision to approve the remand in custody of Dragan Lazic, District Public Prosecutor in Zrenjanin, submitted by the Administrative Committee.

After the completion of the joint discussion on the Proposed Decision, the Speaker of the National Assembly set 29 February 2008 as Voting Day.

With 190 votes in favour the National Assembly adopted the Proposal of the Decision to approve the remand in custody of Dragan Lazic, District Public Prosecutor in Zrenjanin, submitted by the Administrative Committee.

Since the National Assembly had conducted the discussion on the only item on the agenda of the sitting and decided upon it, the Assembly Speaker concluded the Second Extraordinary Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2008.
