STANDING DELEGATION OF THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY AT THE NATO PARLIAMENTARY ASSEMBLY SESSION
The Standing Delegation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, headed by Marko Djurisic will participate at the 53rd Annual Session of the assembly held from 5 to 9 October in Reykjavik (Iceland).

At the session, the parliamentarians will be addressed by the NATO Secretary General, Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, NATO Parliamentary Assembly President, José LELLO, as well as the Speaker of the Icelandic Parliament and Prime Minister of Iceland.
The following Committees will convene during the session: on the Civil Dimension of Security, Defense and Security, on Economics and Security, Political Committee and the Science and Technology Committee. NATO PA Committees will discuss a wide variety of issues among which are: the role of NATO in civilian security, fostering the stability of the West Balkans, the transformation of NATO, relations between NATO and Russia, rocket defense, revision of the Transatlantic division of responsibility and others.
The Committee on the Civil Dimension of Security is expected to propose a draft of a special report on “Kosovo and the future of security in the Balkans” to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.
The National Assembly delegation also includes Dragan Sormaz, Milan Djokic, Bozidar Delic and Dusan Bajatovic.-
