Promotion of Informal Green Parliamentary Group Members Under Auspices of Parliamentary Week
The members of the informal Green Parliamentary Group had a meeting with representatives of international and non-governmental organisations under the auspices of Parliamentary Week, under the slogan “The environment knows no political colour”.
Besides the presentation of their work so far and discussion about the basic tenets, the MPs also symbolically signed a charter obligating themselves to launch initiatives at the local, regional and national level concerning the protection and improvement of the environment, include the public in the decision-making process, gain new knowledge about the environment and sustainable development, promote the idea that the environment knows no borders or political colours and champion the implementation of the values and principles of sustainable development.
The promotion of the members of the informal Green Parliamentary Group was attended by MPs Ivan Karic, Prof. Dr Snezana Bogosavljevic Boskovic, Zarko Micin, MA Goran Cabradi, Stefana Miladinovic, Dr Dijana Vukomanovic and Jasmina Karanac, as well as Marija Mutic and Sonja Licht on the behalf of the Centre for Modern Skills and the Belgrade Fund for Political Excellence respectively.
