Possible Cooperation with Innovative Israeli Company

At a meeting with National Assembly Deputy Speaker Prof. Dr Vladimir Marinkovic today, also attended by Israeli Ambassador to Serbia, Alona Fisher Kamm, a delegation of company OrCam presented their device for the blind and partially sighted.

OrCam representative Elad Serfaty presented the device, first tested in Israel during the parliamentary election, allowing the blind and partially sighted to vote unassisted for the first time anywhere in the world.

Marinkovic praised the device and its variety of possible uses that can make the lives of the vision impaired easier. The Deputy Speaker said that there is room to establish cooperation with innovative Israeli companies and develop and apply new technologies.

The meeting also touched on the potential sale of the device in Serbia, inclusion of the Serbian language in it and funding.
