Petitions and Proposals Committee Chairman in Novi Sad, Lovcenac and Feketic

On Friday, 17 June, the Chairman of the Committee on Petitions and Proposals, Sasa Dujovic visited Novi Sad where, at the invitation of the AP Vojvodina Assembly Petitions and Proposals Committee Chairman, he attended a sitting at which the Activity Report for the previous period was reviewed.

Chairman Dujovic then visited Lovcenac and Feketic where he discussed the petitions submitted by the small shareholders of agricultural cooperatives ”Njegos” A.D from Lovcenac and “Feketic” from Feketic regarding the problems arisen from the privatisation of their cooperatives.

At the gatherings attended by more than 400 farmers and small shareholders, Chairman Dujovic stressed that the Committee on Petitions and Proposals had sent memos to the competent services and ministries to ascertain the allegations in the petitions submitted to the Committee. He added that the problem could not be resolved within a month seeing how it has lasted several years. Saying that the date when the problems would be resolved was not a matter of conjecture, Chairman Dujovic stressed that the fact that the competent services and ministries have already begun work on these cases should not be brought into question and that positive expectations are justified.
