Ninth Sitting of the Finance Committee
At the sitting held on 17 December, the Finance Committee discussed in detail the Bill on the Budget of the Republic of Serbia for 2008, with its accompanying Memorandum on the Budget and Economic and Fiscal Policy for 2008, projections for 2009 and 2010 and proposals of decisions granting consent to financial plans for 2008 of the Republic Fund for Pension and Disability Insurance of Employees, National Employment Service and the Republic Health Insurance Agency.

The sitting was chaired by the Deputy Chairman of the Committee, Radojko Obradovic, and attended by the State Secretary at the Ministry of Finance, Janko Guzijan.
The Finance Committee accepted four and rejected 104 of the 108 amendments total submitted to the Bill.
Following the discussion in detail, the Committee accepted the Bill on the Budget of the Republic of Serbia for 2008, with its accompanying Memorandum on the Budget and Economic and Fiscal Policy for 2008, projections for 2009 and 2010 and proposals of decisions granting consent to financial plans for 2008 of the Republic Fund for Pension and Disability Insurance of Employees, National Employment Service and the Republic Health Insurance Agency in its entirety.
