At the sitting held on 27 March, the Environmental Protection Committee discussed in principle the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Environmental Protection and the Bills on Chemicals, on Biocides, on Air Protection and on Packaging and Packaging Waste.

The Committee considered in principle the Bill amending and modifying the Environmental Impact Assessment Law and the Bills on Nature Conservation, on the Protection and Sustainable Use of the Fish Fund.

The Committee paid particular attention to discussing the Bill on Protection against Noise in Living Environment. Representatives of the submitters elaborated some of the proposed documents for the deputies and answered the Committee members’ numerous questions.

The Committee accepted all the bills in principle and proposed that the National Assembly adopt them, stressing that they not be debated in a joint discussion in principle due to the extraordinary importance of each individual legal proposal.
