Ninth Sitting of the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee

At the sitting held on 21 April 2023, the members of the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee considered the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Austria on Military Cooperation, Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of Hungary amending and modifying to the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of Hungary on Border Control in Road, Rail and Water Transport, Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement on Freedom of Movement with Identity Cards in the Western Balkans and the Bill on the Confirmation the Agreement between the Republic of Serbia and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on the Readmission of Persons Residing Illegally.

The Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Austria on Military Cooperation was presented by Assistant Minister of Defence Predrag Bandic, while the remaining bills were presented by State Secretary at the Ministry of the Interior Dr Zeljko Brkic.

Following a discussion, the Committee accepted all the bills by majority vote.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Deputy Chairman Aleksandar Markovic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Tomislav Jankovic, Milan Glusac, Slavica Radovanovic, Marija Jevdjic, Biljana Pantic Pilja, Djordjo Djordjic, Borko Puskic, Jasmina Obradovic, Prof. Dr Zoran Dragisic, Nikola Dragicevic and Strahinja Erac.
