Ninth Sitting of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government

At the sitting held on 22 October, the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government discussed the Amnesty Bill, submitted by the Government, and the Bill amending the Law on Personal Data Protection, submitted by MP Srdjan Mikovic, in principle. The Committee proposed that the National Assembly accept both bills.


At the sitting, the Committee considered and formulated the Proposal of the Decision Granting Consent to the Decision amending the Decision on the Establishment and Operation of the Support Service of the Commissioner for Protection of Equality and the Rulebook on Internal Organisation and Job Systematisation at the Support Service of the Commissioner for Protection of Equality and proposed that the National Assembly adopt them under urgent procedure.

The Committee went of to formulate the Proposal of the Decision on the termination of office of public prosecutor at the Uzice District Public Prosecutor’s Office of Slavko Stevanovic and the Proposal of the Decision on the termination of office of public prosecutor at the Zajecar District Public Prosecutor’s Office of Viseslav Maletic and proposed that the National Assembly consider them under urgent procedure.

The Committee nominated MA Vladimir Cvijan, Nedjo Jovanovic and Srdjan Mikovic for members of the Commission for the Control of the Execution of Criminal Sanctions from the ranks of Committee members or deputy members.

The Committee nominated Katarina Rakic for member of the Commission monitoring the Execution of the National Action Plan for the implementation of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325 - Women, Peace and Security in the Republic of Serbia (2010 – 2015), as its representative.

The sitting was chaired by Petar Petrovic, Committee Chairman.
