Ninth Sitting of the Committee on the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region

At the sitting held on 4 December, the members of the Committee on the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region reviewed the Republic of Serbia 2018 Budget Bill, in the part concerning the Office for Cooperation with the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region.

According to the Republic of Serbia 2018 Budget Bill, in the part concerning the Office for Cooperation with the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region, the proposed funds amount to 165,010,000 RSD. The funds are intended for two program activities: protection of the rights and interests of the diaspora and Serbs in the region – 57,430,000 RSD, and preservation of the national and cultural identity of the diaspora and Serbs in the region – 107,568,000 RSD.

The Republic of Serbia 2018 Budget Bill, in the part concerning the Office for Cooperation with the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region, was presented by representatives of the Office and the Ministry of Finance.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman MA Ivan Kostic.
