Ninety-Seventh Sitting of the Finance Committee

At the sitting held on 29 February, the Finance Committee considered and accepted, in principle, the Bill Granting Guarantee by the Republic of Serbia in favour of Societe Generale Bank Serbia a.d. Belgrade, Erste GCIB Finance I.B.V. Amsterdam, Unicredit Bank Serbia a.d. Belgrade and Aik Bank a.d. Nis under the debt of Galenika a.d. Belgrade, and then went on to consider the amendments submitted to the Bill.


The MPs had submitted nine amendments which neither the Government nor the Committee accepted.
At the sitting, the Committee also considered and accepted, in principle, the Bill Granting Guarantee by the Republic of Serbia in favour of Komercijalna Banka a.d. Belgrade under the debt of Air Traffic Joint Stock Company “JAT Airways” a.d. Belgrade. The Committee members also considered the amendments submitted to the Bill. The Government and the Committee accepted none of the ten amendments submitted by the MPs.
The Committee accepted, in principle, the Bill Granting Guarantee by the Republic of Serbia in favour of Unicredit Serbia a.d. Belgrade for the construction of an annex to hangar 2, to enable the maintenance and repair of already gained Boeing 737 NG airplane type and equipment aimed at establishing maintenance and repair of Airbus 320 airplane type under the debt of "Jat-Tehnika” d.o.o. Belgrade, and then went on to consider the submitted amendments. The MPs had submitted 5 amendments and the Government and the Committee accepted none of them.
Having accepted, in principle, the Bill Granting Guarantee by the Republic of Serbia in favour of Hypo Alpe-Adria Bank a.d. Belgrade and Societe Generale Bank Serbia a.d. Belgrade to settle the debt of the Building Directorate of Serbia d.o.o. Belgrade, under the loan contract for the construction of residential-office buildings on the site of the Stepa Stepanovic army barracks in Belgrade, the Committee members considered the amendments submitted to the Bill. The Government and the Committee accepted none of the twenty amendments submitted by the MPs. The Committee submitted an amendment of its own to Article 6 of the Bill.
At the sitting, the Committee also considered and accepted, in principle, the Bill Granting Guarantee by the Republic of Serbia in favour of Japan International Cooperation Agency under the debt of public enterprise “Electric Power of Serbia” Belgrade, and then went on to consider the submitted amendments. The Government and the Committee accepted none of the six amendments submitted by the MPs.
The Committee also accepted, in principle, the Bill on the Confirmation of the Guarantee Contract between the Republic of Serbia and European Investment Bank “City of Belgrade bridge on the Sava/A, City of Belgrade bridge on the Sava/B and access roads”. It then considered the amendments submitted to the Bill. The Government and the Committee accepted none of the three amendments submitted by the MPs.
The Committee members considered and accepted, in principle, the Bill on the Confirmation of the Guarantee Contract (EPS Small Hydroelectric Power Plants Project) between the Republic of Serbia and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and then considered the submitted amendments. The MPs had submitted three amendments which neither the Government nor the Committee accepted.
At the sitting, the Committee also considered and accepted, in principle, the Bill on the Confirmation of the Loan Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia as borrower and the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan as lender for the financing of the construction of sections Ljig-Boljkovci, Boljkovci-Takovo and Takovo-Preljina of highway E-763 in the Republic of Serbia, and then considered the amendments submitted to the Bill. Out of the three amendments submitted by the MPs, the Government and the Committee accepted none.
