Newly-Elected Judges Take Oath of Office Before Supreme Court President and National Assembly Speaker

Judges elected to office for the first time by decision of the High Judicial Council took the oath of office on Tuesday, 9 April 2024, before the President of the Supreme Court Jasmina Vesovic and the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Ana Brnabic.

By the text of the oath, the judges pledged to abide by the Constitution and laws and to perform their duty as best they know and can and serve only truth and justice.

The oath-taking ceremony at the National Assembly House was also attended by the President of the High Judicial Council Zorana Delibasic and member of the High Judicial Council from the ranks of judges Snezana Bjelogrlic.

The oath was taken by judges of the basic courts in Sid, Nis, Kranjevo, Dimitrovgrad and Lazarevac, misdemeanour court in Pancevo, Administrative Court, commercial courts in Belgrade, Sremska Mitrovic, Sombor and Senta, as well as judges of the First, Second and Third basic court in Belgrade.
