Newly-Elected Judges Take Oath of Office Before National Assembly Speaker and Supreme Court President
Judges elected to office for the first time at the session of the High Judicial Council held on Friday, 19 July 2024, took the oath of office before the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Ana Brnabic and the President of the Supreme Court Jasmina Vasovic.
By the text of the oath, the judges pledged to abide by the Constitution and laws and to perform their duty as best they know and can and serve only truth and justice.
The oath-taking ceremony in the National Assembly House was also attended by the President of the High Judicial Council Zorana Delibasic.
The oath of office was taken by judges of the basic courts in Uzice, Vrsac and Lazarevac, as well as judges of misdemeanour courts in Obrenovac and Pancevo.
