National Assembly Standing Delegation at NATO PA Spring Session
The National Assembly’s standing delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly will be taking part in the organisation’s spring session, 27-30 May 2016, in Tirana, Republic of Albania.
The participants of the plenary session are planned to be addressed by NATO PA President Congressman Michael Turner, Albanian Parliament Speaker Ilir Meta, Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, Montenegrin Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic and NATO Deputy Secretary-General Ambassador Alexander Vershbow.
The NATO PA five committees - Political Committee, Defence and Security Committee, Economics and Security Committee, Committee on the Civil Dimension of Security and the Science and Technology Committee, will all have meetings in the course of the spring session. The committees discuss the draft reports on current security issues, and the NATO PA Committee on the Civil Dimension of Security will also discuss the draft report on “The Western Balkans: European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Challenges”.
The delegation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia will comprise the Head of the delegation Dragan Sormaz, and delegation members Dr Branislav Blazic, MA Dejan Radenkovic and Dubravka Filipovski.
