National Assembly Speaker to Take Part in 142nd IPU Assembly General Debate
The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and Head of the standing delegation to the Inter-Parliamentary Union Ivica Dacic will address parliamentarians from more than 140 IPU member states in the course of the Assembly’s general debate on "Overcoming the pandemic today and building a better tomorrow: the role of parliamentarians".
Standing delegation members Mladen Grujic, Jelena Mijatovic, Dr Milorad Mijatovic, Ilija Metejic, Olivera Ognjanovic and Ivana Popovic will follow the segment of the general debate in which representatives of the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunisation, Colombia University and the United Nations will address the attending. Reports of IPU committees and other bodies, as well as proposals for the adoption of the new IPU Strategy (2022 – 2026), will also be considered.
