National Assembly Speaker Talks to Senator Christopher Murphy
National Assembly Speaker Maja Gojkovic met with US Senator Christopher Murphy, currently in visit to Serbia, and discussed economic reform and cooperation.
He stressed that, due to the economic reform, political stability and commitment to European integration, US companies are now interested in investing into Serbia more than ever, adding that the US fully supports Serbia’s progress to the EU.
Gojkovic said that Serbia and the National Assembly are dedicated to European integration, adding that though the economic reform is not easy, the ruling majority is fully committed to it.
Gojkovic underlined the importance economic cooperation has for Serbia saying that it was becoming the most attractive destination for investment in the region thanks to its political stability, economic reform and the measures it employs, as well as its fight against crime and corruption.
