National Assembly Speaker Talks to Republic of Srpska Parliamentary Speaker

They jointly deemed that the cooperation of the two parliaments is good based on the Agreement on Parliamentary Cooperation between the Republic of Srpska and the Republic of Serbia, signed by the two assembly speakers in Banjaluka on 9 January of this year, but there have been none of the more intensive contacts predicted by the Agreement due to the frequent electoral cycles in the previous period.
The two parliamentary speakers agreed on the need to intensify the cooperation on several levels, from semi-annual meetings of speakers to the exchange of experiences of parliamentarians and joint working bodies of the two assemblies, which should contribute to the more successful functioning of expert services and passing new laws on both sides.
