National Assembly Speaker Talks to Director of International Radio Serbia
Today at the National Assembly House, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic received the Director of the International Radio Serbia (Radio Yugoslavia) Milorad Vujovic. The Assembly Speaker stressed the importance of all the media in keeping the public informed, particularly the media that inform Serbian citizens in the diaspora on events in the country and stated that she would do all in her jurisdiction to help improve the situation in the medium.
The medium’s Council adopted conclusions on measures to be implemented to resolve the status issues starting form the medium’s name to defining its role and task.
Last year’s budget rebalance considerably decreased the funds intended for the functioning of the International Radio
