National Assembly Speaker Receives Chinese Ambassador in Farewell Visit
The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic received the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Serbia, H.E. Wei Jinghua in a farewell visit.

In a cordial atmosphere, the National Assembly Speaker thanked the Chinese Ambassador for his contributions to the development of friendly relations between the two countries. Wei Jinghua emphasised the significant contribution of the two countries’ parliaments to the cooperation between Serbia and China, particularly in the realisation of the established strategic partnership.
The Chinese Ambassador was expressed gratitude for the hospitality the National Assembly extended to the Chairman of the Chinese National People’s Congress Standing Committee, Wu Bangguo. The Ambassador is sure that the upcoming visit of National Assembly Speaker Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic to China would be successful and further stimulate the strategic cooperation, particularly in the sphere of energy production and infrastructure. Both agreed that the cooperation between the two countries would expand to other fields in the foreseeable future, agriculture among them.
