National Assembly Speaker Receives Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic received today the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Serbia, Muhammad Abduh Dalimunthe with whom she spoke of the future cooperation of the two countries.



The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic received today the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Serbia, Muhammad Abduh Dalimunthe with whom she spoke of the future cooperation of the two countries.

Ambassador Dalimunthe congratulated Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic personally and on the behalf of the Indonesian Parliament Speaker on being elected National Assembly Speaker and wished her success in her work. The Ambassador delivered a letter by the Indonesian Parliament Speaker asking for Serbia’s support in his election for President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in October of this year.

The Speaker of the National Assembly stressed that Serbia values Indonesia’s support in the protection of its integrity and sovereignty emphasising the need to continue the good cooperation and mutual support of the two countries on the international level.

Both deemed that the signing of the Agreement of Understanding between Serbia and Indonesia, which is expected by the end of the year, will enable the furthering of total bilateral cooperation, above all in the field of economy.
