Gojkovic urged for an intensification of parliamentary cooperation and exchange of experiences as regards parliamentary procedures in order to, first and foremost, improve the Serbian Assembly’s scrutiny role.
Gojkovic briefed Marwick on the National Assembly’s legislative activity within Serbia’s reforms aimed at financial stabilisation, economic development and further Euro-integration process.
In the course of her visit to the UK the National Assembly Speaker also met with Lord Speaker of the UK House of Lords Baroness Frances D’Souza and Minister for Europe David Lidington.
