National Assembly Speaker Meets with Russian Federation Deputy Prime Minister

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum with Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Yury Borisov.

Borisov said that he was happy that the plans he worked on with Ivica Dacic at the time when they co-chaired the Mixed Committee for Trade, Economic and Scientific-Technical Cooperation were now being realised. He also expressed satisfaction with the realisation of plans for the production of the Sputnik V vaccine, stressing that this is a big step forward in the cooperation between Serbia and Russia.

National Assembly Speaker Ivica Dacic agreed that the production of the Sputnik V vaccine is an indicator of the exceptional cooperation between the two countries. He pointed out that, as the co-chair of the Mixed Committee, he tried to improve cooperation in the field of economy and trade, and now, as the National Assembly Speaker, he continues to work on strengthening cooperation in the field of parliamentary diplomacy. Dacic informed the Deputy Prime Minister about the meetings he had in the previous few days in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
