National Assembly Speaker Meets with Russian Ambassador to Serbia

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Ana Brnabic met with the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Serbia Alexander Botsan-Kharchenko.

As this was the first meeting between Brnabic and Botsan-Kharchenko since her becoming National Assembly Speaker, the Ambassador congratulated her on her new post and wished her success.

He also conveyed the congratulations from the Chairperson of the Russian Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko and the Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin.

Brnabic and Botsan-Kharchenko discussed the potentials of different types of parliamentary cooperation between the Republic of Serbia and the Russian Federation, primarily the establishment of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with the Russian Federation.
