National Assembly Speaker Ivica Dacic Meets with Slovak Foreign Minister Ivan Korcok

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum with Slovak Foreign Minister Ivan Korcok.

Besides excellent bilateral relations, the Republic of Serbia and the Slovak Republic also share ties of sincere friendship, the officials concluded. They agreed that all types of cooperation should be strengthened, especially in the field of economy. Minister Korcok underlined Slovakia’s hearty support of Serbia’s European integration process.

At the Minister’s interest, Ivica Dacic informed him about the National Assembly’s activities in the EU accession and reform processes, as well as about the inter-party dialogue under the auspices of the National Assembly with the mediation of representatives of the European Parliament.

The two officials also discussed the situation in Kosovo-Metohija and continuation of the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue.

Minister Korcok conveyed the greetings of Slovak Parliament Speaker Boris Kolar, with the wish to meet soon in Bratislava or Belgrade.
