National Assembly Speaker Hosts Serbian Children from Region and Diaspora

Today, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Dr Vladimir Orlic hosted in the House of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia the participants of the festival "All-Serbian Children's Assembly", which gathers children of Serbian origin from the region and the diaspora.

Welcoming the participants, he reminded that this event is organised under the patronage of the President of the Republic Aleksandar Vucic, which is a clear indicator of the support Serbia provides to its children around the world.

He added that he hoped the participants of the "All-Serbian Children's Assembly" in Belgrade would forge lifelong friendships and take away the best impressions and memories from it, expressing hope that one day they would return to their country and continue to live and work there. "The future is in your hands. And, whatever you do in life, always be hardworking, diligent and try to be the best you can, but do not forget to preserve your Serbian language, alphabet and culture and to love your Serbia. And always know that Serbia loves you. Work for Serbia tomorrow and make sure that Serbia be the best it can be. You have that power, never forget that," said the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia.

The children and youth festival "All-Serbian Children's Assembly" will take place from 25 to 28 May in Belgrade, under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic and gather children from Austria, North Macedonia, Germany, Romania and Croatia, ages 9 to 13.
