The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic, sent a telegram of condolences to the French Ambassador in Belgrade, Jean Francois Terral and the family of the tragically deceased French national, Brice Taton, who tragically died in Belgrade yesterday.

“It was with great regret that I received the news that the French national, Brice Taton, had succumbed to the injuries caused by the physical attack by hooligans in Belgrade.

Please convey my deepest sympathy to the victim’s family on the behalf of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and my own.

I assure you that the perpetrators shall be brought to justice and duly punished.”
