National Assembly Speaker Congratulates 24 December - Air Force Day

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Dr Vladimir Orlic congratulated 24 December to the members of the Air Force and Air Defence:

"Happy 24 December to all the members of the Air Force and Air Defence.

Exactly 111 years ago, Serbia became one of the fifteen countries in the world that formed a military air force and among the first five that used aircraft in combat operations.

Over time, you have proudly and faithfully nurtured the traditional values of your branch, discipline and responsibility, and more than a century of experience, rich knowledge and expertise have contributed to the fact that today your units without exception respond to every challenge they encounter, at the same time contributing to the development of the overall operational capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces.

On behalf of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and on my own behalf, I once again congratulate you on the holiday, in the hope that you will successfully complete your tasks in the future and work on the further improvement, strengthening and affirmation of the Air Force and Air Defence," says the National Assembly Speaker in his congratulatory message.
