National Assembly Speaker Calls Local Elections in Mionica and Lucani
The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Maja Gojkovic passed a decision on calling local elections in the municipalities of Mionica and Lucani, for 28 December 2014.
The decision to call local elections in Mionica and Lucani shall come into force the day after it has been published in the Official Gazette, which also sets in motion the deadline for the electoral activities.
As stipulated by the Law on Local Elections, the election bodies for the conduction of elections will be in charge of the elections in Mionica and Lucani.
The National Assembly Speaker passed the decision on calling local elections in the two municipalities in line with the Law on Local Elections and the Law on Local Self-Government.
