National Assembly Speaker Calls Local Elections for Majdanpek
National Assembly Speaker Maja Gojkovic passed a decision on calling an election for councillors of Majdanpek Municipal Assembly for 7 September 2014.
The decision to call local elections in Majdanpek shall come into force the day after it has been published in the Official Gazette, which also sets in motion the deadline for the electoral activities.
As stipulated by the Law on Local Elections, the election bodies for the conduction of elections will be in charge of the elections in Majdanpek.
The National Assembly Speaker passed the decision on calling local elections in Majdanpek in line with the Law on Local Elections and the Law on Local Self-Government.
