National Assembly Speaker Ana Brnabic Meets with Suriname Foreign Minister

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Ana Brnabic met today with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Business and Cooperation of the Republic of Suriname Albert Ramchand Ramdin.

At the beginning of the meeting, the officials praised the cooperation between Serbia and Suriname, underlining the importance of the relations in the fields of diplomacy and economy.

They emphasised the importance of advancing cooperation in various fields including agriculture, food and water safety, the ICT sector and connecting business communities.

Minister Ramdin expressed interest in strengthening cooperation in these areas, especially the economy, as well as readiness to take further steps in that direction.

Speaker Brnabic thanked Suriname for supporting Serbia’s candidacy to organise the international exhibition EXPO 2027 in Belgrade and invited representatives of Suriname to take part in the promotion of their country’s culture and wealth in it.

The Suriname Foreign Minister congratulated Speaker Brnabic on her recent appointment to a new post and wished her success.
