National Assembly Marks Republic of Srpska Day
The National Assembly House marked the Day of Republic of Srpska by a meeting of the National Assembly Speaker Dr Nebojsa Stefanovic and the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, MA Igor Radojicic, the members of the two parliaments’ committees on culture, education and science and a concert of the Banja Luka philharmonic, choir Obilic and AKUD Branko Krsmanovic.
The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, MA Igor Radojicic said that the Republic of Srpska owes its 22 years of existence to the will of its citizens verified by the international Dayton Accords, describing the ties between Serbia and the Republic of Srpska as strategic, political and economic as well as human and living.
Addressing the gathering, the two parliament speakers agreed that the relations between Serbia and the Republic of Srpska are at a high level, but that there is always room for improvement, especially in the scopes of parliamentary cooperation.
The Gift Concert of the Banja Luka philharmonic orchestra, choir Obilic and AKUD Branko Krsmanovic was held in the National Assembly House central hall and included the Slavonic March, Over There Far Away and March on the Drina.
