National Assembly House Hosts Exhibition “Masters of Science”

National Assembly Deputy Speaker Prof. Dr Vladimir Marinkovic and Slovak Ambassador in Belgrade H.E. Dagmar Repcekova opened the exhibition “Masters of Science”, organised by the Slovak Embassy, at the National Assembly House.

Prof. Dr Vladimir Marinkovic said he was very pleased to have the honour to open the exhibition “Masters of Science” at a time when the Slovak Republic presides over the Council of the European Union and is a state that supports Serbia on the path toward full EU membership.

“What is very important is that hundreds of citizens will in the coming two weeks have the opportunity to learn about Slovakia’s vast scientific heritage”, said Marinkovic adding that Serbia and Slovakia should enhance their educational, scientific and cultural cooperation.

The attending were also addressed by Slovak Ambassador in Belgrade H.E. Dagmar Repcekova who emphasised the importance of the inventions, some of them over 400 years old, which have had a significant impact on the development of science and technology, in the fields of biology, geology, astronomy, mathematics, and without which we could not even imagine the world today.

The visitors will have the opportunity to see inventions made by Slovak scientists, on 25 panels in the Central Hall of the National Assembly House.
