Deputy Speaker Marinkovic said that the economic cooperation of Turkish and Serbian companies is very important for Serbia, adding that the National Assembly, and the Economic Caucus in particular, stand ready to support initiatives aimed at boosting said cooperation. The fact that the Turkish Halkbank plans to open a subsidiary in Serbia sends a positive signal and encourages other Turkish companies to invest in Serbia, said Marinkovic.

Ambassador Bozay mentioned the exchange of visits between Turkish and Serbian business delegations planned for the near future.

Speaking of the possibilities for improving cooperation in the field of tourism, the officials concluded that a great many Serbian tourists visit Turkey and that there is room to entice Turkish tourists to visit Serbia.
