National Assembly Deputy Speaker Ragus at Promotional Ceremony of Collection of Works on Law on General Administrative Procedure: Modern Tendencies and Challenges

National Assembly Deputy Speaker Marina Ragus spoke today at the promotional ceremony of the collection of works on the “Law on the General Administrative Procedure: modern tendencies and challenges”.

Ragus stressed that it is very important for legislators to follow the course, effects and realisation of a law that has been passed and concluded that this collection is an excellent resource. She said that the National Assembly supports and promotes the idea that argued criticism should be heard.

The National Assembly Deputy Speaker opined that the Law on the General Administrative Procedure, in force for 10 years now, contains good solutions, adding that it is always good to, over time, assess and adjust certain provisions to the needs of the citizens and the economy, so as to achieve absolute rule of law through transparency, legality and predictability.

She also commended the use of digital tools in the administrative procedure, thanks to which some processes are expedited.
