National Assembly Delegation to PABSEC at 47th Plenary Session in Moscow
The standing delegation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation, comprising MA Igor Becic, Head of the standing delegation, Katarina Rakic, member of the standing delegation, and Zoltan Pek, took part in the 47th PABSEC plenary session in Moscow, 28-30 June 2016.
The next general assembly of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation will be held in Belgrade, 29 November – 1 December 2016, and is an opportunity for a big promotion of Serbia.
Besides the Republic of Serbia, the session was also atteded by delegations from the Russian Federation, Greece, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Moldova and Albania, and it was chaired by Russian State Duma Speaker Sergey Naryshkin.
The Parliamentary Assembly adopted recommendations and reports on the problem of refugees in BSEC member states – political, economic and social aspects, calling the member states to closer cooperation in facing the migrant challenge.
The National Assembly delegation had many bilateral contacts during the session.
